This is pretty much how I feel today.  

Randomness just 'cause

There is just too much going on to make a clear and concise thought.  Work, kid's dance stuff, hobby, home, general crappiness.  Getting old sucks sometimes.  So I give you a photo montage.  Deal.

My Hostas and Bleeding hearts.  I love me my Hostas.  I planted them once (ok, twice - thanks mom) and they are taking over.  I think they are aliens and planning world domination. 

I remember when this was a "strong" cider.  Not so much any more.  Tasty.

Spring = Ants

This is an ant pile.  In my drive way.  About 9 inches wide.

Its spring so that means ants.  We live in a house that is on a concrete slab.  So, when the weather starts to warm up, my little friends here start to come out and say hi!  They greet me in the kitchen.  Say hello in the bathroom.  And even sometimes get some reading in with Erin.  One of the big downfalls of the area is the ants.  We can usually get it under control pretty quick.  But this lovely little pile of doom showed up this morning.  With all of the rain the last few days, the tunnels under the driveway were flooded so up they come.  And Out I went with the Ant killer.  I understand that every animal and creature has its place.. but damn it, not in the middle of my driveway or in my house.  

Where do all the lost thoughts go?

Driving into work this morning I had a great idea for a blog... now its gone. This is the one thing I HATE. I refuse to send it via my phone (not to mention I can't spell on the stupid thing). And I can't write and drive at the same time.

I'm trying to back track in my head to remember what it was and its not working. I got in the car, dropped Erin off, got back in the car, drove to the office and now I'm here. What the hell was it?
Nothing on the radio I don't think... hmmm...

I've been having a panic attack for most of the day. I know exactly what is causing it (multiple things) and I made it worse by having some 2 1/2 cups of coffee. Not to mention the strange fact I had the opportunity to gorge myself on chocolate yesterday and didn't. The need was satisfied with a handful of M&Ms. I have no desire to drink pop (soda, whatever). I'm feeling all kinds of out of sorts.

So here is the plan for the next week and a half (deep breath)....
Tonite - give in to the fact I do not have the time to make Truffles for Investiture . Sad as it sounds, I just don't have the time. So, I will plan out the baking for Sunday tonite.

Thursday - Pick up plants from school, work and then watch the kids (I love the kids.. I hope Lex makes me Soup!)

Friday - Get stuff together for Saturday and stop feeling like shit (stupid cold). Ship Val's gift and get Mom's present

Saturday - Relax at Investiture (ha!). Maybe I can sneak out and get his stocking stuff after Dinner (please be done by 6:30!!)

Sunday - while Hubby is out Shopping, Erin and I will get Baking stuff and start making some Placzek and cookies.

Monday - Work lots and finish the X-mas presents

Tuesday - all day meeting and food is provided (remember to bring said Placzek).

Wednesday - Work lots more

Thursday - 1pm and 6 pm - SCHOOL PLAY... BRING VIDEO CAMERA!!

Friday - Bake 24 mini Placzeks and a few more big ones..

Saturday - freak out and get/make food for Xmas Eve

Sunday - get stuff together for Xmas Eve

Monday - Freak out more and have a drink FINALLY

Tuesday - Watch my Kid scream with delight at what Santa brought

Wednesday - Dentist appt for the kid then DO NOTHING BUT PLAY TILL JAN 2nd!!
